We are looking for highly experienced Java Enterprise Engineers to join our team. You will be responsible for working on and innovating on top of existing proprietary projects in the fintech space with our long standing clients. This is an exciting opportunity for seasoned and capable engineers to join this growing team. Your primary focus will be to deliver scalable components and features to our customer base and be a part of engineering a scalable microservices based platform in support of the overall objects. You will be working in Spring and required to possess the technical capacity to develop and deliver excellent code as part of the services. As a skilled and proficient communicator you will be collaborating daily within the team of developers and international stakeholders on implementing elegant solutions and delivering the strategy based on product development.

Core Responsibilities

Develop and maintain unit tests and liaise with QA on resolving issues around performance, features and regression.
Develop solutions aimed at ensuring performance and reliability are maintained to ensure a highly scalable SaaS platform.
Engineer efficient, testable, and reusable services and platforms across a large scale microservices based enterprise java platform.
Engineer modules on a Microservice architecture, leveraging the principles of loosely coupled microservice oriented architecture.
Execute the develop strategy to migrate core platform services to updated code bases and complete refectoring and optimisation plus product roadmap items.
Transfer your knowledge and experience on technology and solutions within the team.

What you should have

5 to 10 years experience working in a commercial capacity within a corporate environment essential.
Demonstrated experience in delivering secure, reliable, scalable and robust consumer facing web applications and services (SOA & Microservices) essential.
Demonstrated experience in one or more Spring Frameworks including Spring MVC, IOC, AOP, Spring JDBC, Spring IO & Spring Boot.
Exceptional knowledge and skills working with GIT SCM and managing concurrent code pipelines.
Experience and expertise working in developing datastore schemas and strategies to represent and support business systems and processes.
Experience in AWS and Heroku Cloud Environments and / Tomcat 5,6,7 advantageous.
Exposure to continuous integration and continuous deployment and DevOps advantageous.
Hands on demonstrated experience working on Agile and Scrum based approaches to the Software Development Lifecycle.
Strong English communication skills both oral and written
