We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer in Mean Stack to join our team. You will be responsible for working on a new project with us that focuses on using bleeding edge technologies to develop and deliver a robust, scalable user experience for a core product. Your primary focus will be to work within the team to deliver scalable components, services and interfaces to support a new product and service in the review space. You will build reusable, testable and modular code. As a communicator you will be collaborating daily within the team of developers and stakeholders to implement elegant solutions and deliver features through the product backlog product.

Core Responsibilities

Technical experience, plus sound capability to provide sound solution design and implementations.
Build efficient, testable, and reusable services and modules.
Build efficient modules leveraging the principal of loosely coupled microservice oriented architectures.
Develop and maintain unit tests and liaise with QA on resolving issues around performance, features and regression.
Develop solutions across a scalable SaaS platform.
Development of database stores and adopting of cache strategies.
Transfer your knowledge and experience on technology and solutions within the team.

What you should have

Exceptional demonstrated experience in the MEAN Stack.
Strong experience working with Express and Node.
Demonstrated experience in delivering secure, reliable, scalable and robust consumer facing web applications and services (SOA & Microservices).
Experience designing and developing datastore schemas and strategies to represent and support business systems and processes.
Experience working with MongoDB and Aurora.
Demonstrated experience working with application cache technologies including Redis and Memcache.
Understanding of front end technologies including Angular & Bootstrap.
Strong English communication skills both oral and written.
Exceptional knowledge and skills working with GIT SCM.
Exposure to AWS Cloud Environment.
Exposure to continuous integration and continuous deployment.
Minimum 4+ years experience working in a commercial capacity within a corporate environment.
