Role Overview
We are looking for a Cloud / DevOps Engineer to manage and scale our cloud ecosystem. You will automate our delivery pipelines, optimize system reliability, and implement security guardrails to help our engineering teams deploy software safely and quickly.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure as Code: Design and provision cloud infrastructure using automated tools like Terraform, OpenTofu, or Ansible.
- CI/CD Automation: Build, maintain, and optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
- Containerization: Manage containerized workloads and orchestration systems using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Monitoring & Alerting: Set up robust observability dashboards and alerting systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or New Relic.
- Security & Compliance: Implement IAM roles, network security policies, encryption, and secure secret management protocols.
- Cost Optimization: Monitor cloud spending, analyze usage patterns, and right-size infrastructure to eliminate waste.
Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or Cloud Architect.
- Cloud Platforms: Deep hands-on expertise with at least one major cloud provider, specifically AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure.
- Scripting: Strong proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Go for automation tasks.
- Networking: Solid understanding of network fundamentals, including VPCs, DNS, Load Balancers, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Systems Administration: Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, system internals, and shell scripting.
